| Enter the restaurant past the Winter Garden, a splash of green summer even in the bleak winter months. The Avgust has four dining rooms, including the Business Room (8-10 people), Banquet Room (15-20 people), the Bar Room (16 people) and the Winter Garden (15 people). The most unique dining experience is on our veranda (open from April to October), which seats up to 70. Fresh air and a splendid view of the river will accompany your meal! Live music accompanies your meal on Saturdays and Sundays, and every evening a violinist creates a serene and romantic mood for your relaxation and enjoyment. |
| Our chefs will pleasantly surprise you with our variety of specialties. We can delight you with traditional borshcht and pelmeniya, but also excellent seafood of all varieties. Try some of our many specialty salads: Koral-Fri, a unique shrimp salad, the Avgust salad with crawfish, and the Rhine salad with beets and walnuts. And no one can remain unimpressed by our Volga sturgeon (an entire fish!), baked with mushrooms and a crust of cheese on top. The Avgust had become a prime meeting place for businessmen and women. Business lunches can be arranged on a moment's notice in any one of our quiet rooms. Most rooms exit directly onto the veranda. During the evening, the business people are joined by families, tourists and others. |
| We are located in the center of the city, close to the Intourist and Volgograd hotels. Walk the path from the hotels to the restaurant along the Heroes Lane, lined on both sides by poplar trees and reflect on the many monuments to heroes of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and the Eternal Flame. In the center spend an evening at the Net Drama Theatre, one of the most beautiful theatres in the Volga region. Visit the Panorama of the Great War (also in the center) or the Musical/Comedy Theatre on the Embankment. |
